The Rio Grande Basin Team is comprised of 100th Meridain Initiative partners primarily in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas.

 

Current Objectives
Define zebra/quagga mussel threats to Rio Grande resources. Develop prioritized prevention actions for high risk waters and identify those which can be done with existing resources. Draft an outline for collaborative work. Develop a long-term strategy to prevent zebra/quagga mussel introduction into the basin.

Next Meeting:
The next meeting for 100th Meridian Initiative Rio Grande River Basin Team has not yet been scheduled.
